The DriveTrail journal

Keep the journeys
you make.

Whichever vehicle takes you there.

DriveTrail is an iPhone alpha for car outings, motorcycle rides, bicycle trips and the places you want to remember. A garage, a private trip journal and your own little atlas.

A place saved is yours.

The public discovery catalog is separate from your private journal. Opening a link does not add a visit. Your routes, notes and photos are never uploaded by this service.

Location on this website.

Near me asks for your browser's location permission. It moves the map and includes those coordinates in the page address. Links you share and requests to this website can include that address. You can browse the list or search without using your location.

The web server receives ordinary request data, including your IP address and requested URLs. Your browser also requests map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address and the map area you view. Read the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy. This website does not upload your private journal or use advertising or analytics scripts.

Still taking shape.

The app is currently built from source by its developer; there is no App Store download yet. App links work only with an installed build configured for this discovery service. The global catalog contains clearly labeled example places. Regional collections and public contributions come later.

Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors. Map availability and vehicle access vary. Check official sources before setting out; this atlas does not provide navigation.
